Since 1 July 2007 Krajská nemocnice Liberec (Liberec Regional Hospital) has been a joint stock company. The new management of the region’s largest medical facility has optimised certain processes within the organisation to ensure that if they do have an effect on our patients it is only in the positive sense of the word. Otherwise, everything our specialists are capable of, what staffing and technological facilities are available, and what therapeutic and diagnostic procedures are applied, are listed on Liberec Regional Hospital’s brand new website.

We have created these pages primarily to provide patients with up-to-date and clear information from all 46 of the hospital’s departments. They are, however, also designed for all our other clients, from healthcare workers to hospital visitors and news media. The Internet is the most effective form of communication and all work with the Internet can be compared to a long-distance run, which is why the www.nemlib.cz site will be continually updated and promoted so as to provide all users with the most accurate information about everything that goes on at Liberec Regional Hospital.

The specialised work and publications of a number of our specialists have interested and inspired healthcare workers from abroad, so we are now working on versions translated into English and German.
